Made in Portugal from a fabric woven by one of the country's oldest and most respected mills: a family-owned operation founded in 1937. The cloth is a robust 240g/m² weave with a subtle herringbone texture that gives the shirt a quiet, utilitarian character: something between a field shirt and a military issue.

The blend is 58% cotton, 42% linen, a ratio that will earn its keep. The cotton lends structure and body; the linen does the real work in warm weather. Linen is, of course, among the most breathable natural fibers available: it wicks moisture efficiently, releases heat quickly, and only improves with wear. Together, the two fibers produce a fabric that is robust enough to take a beating and comfortable enough to wear all day in the heat.

Construction follows the same exacting standards as every workshirt we make: triple-needle-stitched main seams, bar-tacked stress points, our signature cuff-to-elbow tuff patch, and Corozo buttons throughout.

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with mild detergent — avoid bleach, which weakens linen fibers over time. Hang or lay flat to dry; if you use a dryer, pull it out while still slightly damp. Iron on medium-high heat while damp, or use steam. A note on linen: it wrinkles. This is the nature of the fiber, not a flaw in the fabric
